Since it is almost 2011, people are asking me to change the copyright date at the bottom of their WordPress blog.
You can, however, do this automatically by using a piece of code that displays the current year. Once this is added to your template, you don’t need to manually update it again.
Happy December!
I’m always glad when November is over. When the time changes and it starts getting dark so early, I have a hard time getting used to it and feel sleepy all the time. But, by December I am used to it and feel like myself again. I’m also one of those off people who prefers Winter to Summer and I can’t wait for it to snow.
This week I have WordPress, blogging, holiday stuff, evil Comcast, and more.
Enjoy!
Two days ago I wrote about the upcoming features in WordPress 3.1. And then, bam, a required security update, version 3.0.2, has been released. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen one of these (anyone remember the 2.8 series) and I do recommend updating WordPress to address this security issue.
WordPress 3.1 is scheduled for release on December 15th. Of course, that date is subject to change but it will be coming out soon-ish.
Here are some of the features we have to look forward to in the next version of WordPress.
