I seem to excel at winning contests for things I already own!
Recently I won a free Studiopress Theme from a contest held on WPBeginner. I already own the themes so I asked if I could pass it on in another contest and was told that I could. Yay!

I had double the number of entries than I did last December when I ran a similar contest for the release of WordPress 2.7. It could be that more people want assistance, more people are using WordPress or that more people know about and trust me. Maybe it’s my ego talking but I think it’s that more people know about me.

WordPress 2.8 Release Contest
WordPress 2.8 will be released today (maybe) and I thought we should celebrate with another super easy contest to win a free upgrade.
Yeah, yeah – I know the auto-upgrade works for everyone but me and three of my friends so if you don’t want the upgrade you can have an hour of my remote time. I’ll do some customizations, add some plugins, make recommendations, optimize and backup your database, or implement other tweaks and features.
But it can’t take more than an hour.

Well, I am very behind as I was out of town a couple of days longer than I originally planned. I thought I would enjoy limited Internet and cell phone access but it was really hard.
I also has a very difficult trip, which I might discuss tomorrow, and it’s going to take me a bit to get back into my normal routine.
