This week I was thinking about things I don’t miss about working in an office – actually, I can’t really think of anything I do miss but there are definitely things I don’t miss at all. So, here’s my list of office annoyances that I hope I never have to deal with again.
One of my least favorite things about freelancing is not always having a steady stream of work. I am usually busy enough but sometimes if it gets quiet I start to worry if things will stay that way or if it’s just a lull. I’ve found that it always picks up whether I worry about it or not so it’s best to try not to worry. ;-)
I have, however, come across an excellent why to find more work when things are slow.

This week I have exporting google docs, Amelia Earhart, walkable cities and more.
I can’t believe it’s already August. This summer seems to have zipped right by. I have a couple of weeks before going on vacation and then when we come back, school will be starting again.
This week I have articles on freelancing, Twitter, Social Media and WordPress. I did not come across many videos that I thought were especially amusing. If you have any, please leave a link to it in the comments. Fortunately, Valerie sent one to me so I was able to add one at the last moment.
Yesterday I listed the 5 most popular articles that I’ve written this year based on pageviews from google analytics. Today I’m going to list my 5 favorite articles of the one’s I’ve written this year. I don’t think there is going to be any overlap (I haven’t actually selected them yet – it’s going to all be real time while I’m writing).
