Well, I’m away on vacation and I thought I would leave you with a silly holiday gift – my celebrity crushes through the years. I’m not saying they are good looking and I can’t always explain why but these are the famous people that I’ve had a thing for – some of them I still do. I’m not saying that I have good taste either ;-)
5 WordPress Citrus Themes
I’m not sure why this is but there are an unusually high number of WordPress themes with Citrus in their name. It seems that whenever green, yellow or orange are used that oranges, grapefruit and limes pop into the theme creator’s mind.
So, as I started noticing this assortment if fruity themes, I decided to collect them and highlight this naming oddity.
This is NOT a personal recommendation of these themes. At least one of them could easily be added to my article about ugly WordPress themes.
Anyway, maybe some extra citrus is needed during this dark time of year, especially for those of us who live in cold climates. And now I’m thinking about how grandparents would tell me that they would only get an orange for Christmas. That seems so sad until you think about globalization and buying locally. If you lived in say Canada, you certainly wouldn’t have had access to citrus in December, if ever.

I’m amazed I found any links at all this week. I’ve been busy finishing up projects, getting ready for the holidays, and getting ready to visit my family. I will be gone for a week but don’t worry, I have a couple of scheduled posts planned and I guarantee that they will be fun.

The first couple of months that I had this site I only had one visitor. Well, only one that I knew of. So many of my articles went unloved and unread.
It’s not that the articles are SO bad. Well, maybe just a little – my writing has definitely improved. It’s just that no one knew they existed. They were out there all alone floating about the Internet.
Since I’ve been highlighting articles from the past, such as 5 WordPress articles and 5 Twitter articles, I decided to showcase 5 unpopular articles. Maybe they will find a little love now.
I should note that my criteria for selecting articles were ones with no comments. It’s entirely possible that they were wildly popular and that the readers were so stunned by my brilliance that they were unable to comment.
7 Secret(ish) Things About Me
Ok. I’ve avoided memes to this point but since Ari Herzog tagged me to participate, I will. I’m trying really really hard to get on Ari’s A List without having to actually meet him so I’m hoping that meme participation will help me out. Now if you didn’t get the sarcasm in that last sentence that’s because a) I’m a crappy writer and b) html still doesn’t have the sarcasm tags which I’ve been waiting for for a VERY long time.
What am I talking about here? Oh yes. 7 things about me. I’m saying they are secret(ish) because people who know me, know these things, but I guess the online world doesn’t. So, buckle up because this should be a total thrill.
