I find that actually checking the Facebook is part of the fun. You can hide the things you don’t want to see. Also, I can barely keep up with my feed reader the way it is.
Those money-saving tips are good for anyone, not just freelancers.
I’m always on the look-out for good ways to get more relevant followers. That is a great little list. It also led me to a link about the Twitter Worm last December. I was still in the “OK, I’ll follow anyone who follows me” mindset and added this worm. It was pretty irritating and every time I UNfollowed, it would appear back in my Following list later. Glad they’ve suspended that account. (I changed my password after that experience.)

I agree that the money saving tips are good all the time. People just seem to like to buy stuff.
And I still follow almost everyone back. But I do end up ultimately blocking some of them.
