Previously, I’ve done two sets of simple WordPress themes; 5 Simple WordPress Themes and 10 More Simple WordPress Themes. Since a lot of people seem to appreciate the minimalism of them, I decided to showcase 5 more that I have found over the last month or so.
Sometimes, I think I would like to make the look of this site simpler but I’m not sure what I would remove.

By definition, minimal is less than what you currently have — and given all of those layouts are two columns, how is any one more minimal than another? ;)

I like simple. Kinda why I like the Thesis theme. Out of the box it’s simple, or it can be made as complicated as desired.

Hi Colleen – Thesis is a simple looking theme. I don’t think it’s very simple to work with though ;-)
Perhaps it is for us, as we are not taking advantage of the many features. We simple load it and run it. At least my husband does not bother with it. I think the only option he selects is the number of columns and the column width.

Absolutely – it’s just any customization beyond what it comes with requires writing a function. I work on Thesis quite a bit but when I don’t for awhile I feel like I need to relearn it :-)
Oooo… I really like whitepress. maybe I’ll test it out in the middle of the night – will it save all my current theme’s settings when I switch? Anyone know??

Hi Momma – Your settings should be find. You can also do a preview in WordPress without actually activating it.
Acosmin5 is the best one of those in my opinion.

I am glad. I created it myself and it is 100% Free with the GPL license. I just added a ton of new features. I hope people like them ;)
