It seems like a lot of people don’t like Timeline for Pages. If you don’t, hopefully you become used to the changes soon. If there is one thing I’ve learned about Facebook, it’s that they rarely change their mind and go back to the old way of doing things.

Pinterest has become super popular so I decided to look around for WordPress themes that look like Pinterest.
Many image based layouts that are designed for portfolios do look a lot like Pinterest.
So, if you love the Pinterest layout and want something similar for your own site, you might find something that you like below.
Many of these themes look quite a bit alike so I recommend viewing the demos and playing around with the features to determine which one will work the best for your needs.
For a recent project I wanted to do something a little different with the list of categories in the sidebar. Instead of simply listing each category, I wanted to list an excerpt from the last post in that category.
I wasn’t quite sure how to do this although I did know that I needed an array of the categories I wanted to use. After a little trial and error and asking a friend a question, I came up with the following piece of code.
