Wow! Can you believe it’s already August? This summer is flying by. Before I know it, school will be starting up again. Alex told me recently that she loves school and wishes summer break was shorter – lol – what a funny kid.

Tina Turner is like a Rioja wine – better for every year it goes. August is a fantastic months; hotest month of the year, time to starting picking mushroms, ect.
I diden´t like the blog post “A hotel made from Trash” – The hotel is made from 12 tons of trash that was found on over 24 European beaches. – Everyone know that Italy have the dirty beaches in Europe, – don´t say European beaches, say Italian beaches.

I don´t look down on Italy, a lovely country, but here in Europe do we often talk about Blue Flag regarding clean beaches and marinas. Regarding coastline and Blue Flag is Italy in the bottom.
Italy has 7,600 km of coastline and only 225 beaches and 60 marinas awarded with Blue Flag.
Spain has only 4,900 km of coastline and has 552 beaches and 84 marinas awarded with Blue Flag.
I didn’t read it as you looking down on Italy – but if the Italian beaches are the ones with all the trash then it isn’t fair for me to say it’s a European issue :-)
